Google Works On Addiction To Adobe Flash

Google announced yesterday that it has added Flash support to its Instant Previews feature even though it is cautioned against using Adobe’s plugin too heavily. With support for Flash, users will be able to use a regular web browser to see a Flash-heavy, website’s animations, layout, and videos in the quick view sidebar instead of having plugin errors. The method would implement whenever a website’s details were scraped by Google’s bots but would also be turned off when the preview had to be generated on-demand.

Bebo Revamps Site To Attract More Users

The social networking platform Bebo has launched a new version of their site in hopes that some Facebook fanatics switch over. After Criterion Capital Partners took over the social media platform, Bebo now has a new user interface that offers an easy-on-the-eyes news feed and features a comments system similar to Facebook.

Iranian Government Accused Of Large Scale Internet Attack

The Comodo Group, a New Jersey company, has accused Iran’s government of sponsoring an attempted cyber-attack on Google, Microsoft, Mozilla, and Skype. Had the attacks not been discovered, these major websites would have been left open to impersonation. The Comodo group sells digital authentication certificates (guarantee whether a website is legitimate or not). The certificates work through a security protocol called SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).
