Leak: Nokia Sea Ray With WP7 (Video)

Nokia’s first Windows Phone 7 device is probably music to many Symbian users who have long carried the burden of trying to use their phone in the first month of owning it. Symbian, of course, is Nokia’s operating system, that they’ve been using for the past decade + years, and it’s a royal headache.

Simple things like turning off the WiFi, takes many clicks here and taps there and it’s probably the farthest thing from being intuitive.

Microsoft Working On Secure Messaging & UI For WP7

It looks like Microsoft is up to no good in that they are working on a ‘top secret’ Windows Phone project, or at least that’s what the job listing says on its website.

It seems as if the project would be a version-one design with initial planning set to undergo in a month. The interface will be targeted to those user-friendly consumers and Windows may spend more time on making messaging more secure.

Windows Mango Delivers 50 FPS On Mobile Phones

It’s truly remarkable what companies can do with HTML5 these days. Just yesterday, we had posted about Pandora finally making the switch to HTML5, after years of running on Adobe Flash- a platform that frequently crashed on certain browsers.

But we haven’t really heard much about HTML5 integration with mobile phones. Well, that’s about to change, and Microsoft is making it clear why Windows 7 Mango is superior to iOS5 beta.

Acer’s First Mango Phone: W4

Acer has just revealed its first Windows Phone Mango at Computex 2011. The smartphone is expected to hit consumers later this year and will be dubbed the Acer W4 (nice and simple, isn’t it?) The windows phone will feature a 3.6″ WVGA screen and offer a viewing resolution of 480 by 800 pixels. The device comes with a 5MP rear camera with auto-focus, allowing you to take the clearest of snapshots while staying within budget.

The Mango phone will offer HSPA (850/1900) or (900/2100) AND GSM quad band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) Support. What powers the device, you ask?

Windows Mango Update Has 500 New Features

Microsoft Steve Ballmer may have dropped the ball at a recent presentation for Japan’s Microsoft Developer Forum. Ballmer claims that the new Mango update for Windows Phone 7 would carry over 500 new features and will run on flashier hardware than current Windows Phones. Some industry tips claim that as many as nine new Windows devices may come, including those from major manufacturers.

Acer will be showing off two new Windows phones later this year, Dell will have one called the Wrigley, and the HTC would have at least two devices as well.

16MP HTC Phone- Leaked

We’ve been hearing about HTC leaks, left and right. We just covered the HTC Holiday and the HTC Lead, but it looks like another HTC is in the works, codenamed, Bresson. The handset is named after French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson who made candid and street photography popular. So how does this phone relate to that photographer? Well, expect a 16MP camera built into the phone, for starters, making it the highest quality camera available on phone in the market, any market.
