Microsoft Unveils Media Remote And Bluetooth Headset For Xbox 360

With the news about Microsoft planning on releasing Xbox 720 and integrating Windows 8 with the ability to play Xbox 360 games, some might think that Xbox 360 is now an old story.

If you think you have enjoyed Xbox 360’s experience to its fullest, you are wrong. Microsoft has another card up its sleeve. Microsoft has just unveiled two new accessories for Xbox 360, the Media Remote and Bluetooth Wireless headset.

Acer Orders 80,000 AMD Z Processors For New Tablet?

It looks like Acer has just placed a big order for AMD Z series APUs for a possible new tablet lineup. The company placed an order for 80,000 of the AMD processors, and the new tablets are likely going to dive into the enterprise market.

No clue on whether or not the new tablets will feature Android’s new Ice Cream Sandwich or Windows 7 but I would vote for the less expensive operating system. Although, Windows may just be the victor, since I can’t imagine businesses adopting the Android platform, unless maybe they’re a startup.

Microsoft App Store Confirmed W/ Photo

There were rumors circulating around just a little while ago saying that Microsoft was working on its own App store. Well, today we finally have some solid proof towards that rumor. After a code check was performed by Windows8Italia, as well as the thumbnail shown, it looks like Microsoft is designing an App store that looks very similar to the current Mac App store. The Windows App Store will have ratings, reviews, and developer feedback.

Windows 8 Metro UI (Leaked Video!)

Thanks to a recent leak of the Windows 8 build 7955, alexerax showed us a video that demonstrates the Metro user-interface. The video displays the basic setup of a wireless network in the upcoming Windows 8. It seems like Microsoft will be incorporating its design language across many Microsoft products and with this video, we are able to catch an early glimpse of the software!

Although Windows 8 is far from public availability, this leak adds to an exciting laundry list that has accumulated over the past weeks.

No Support For Windows 8 Live ID?

According to GeekSmack’s sources, Microsoft’s current builds of Windows 8 do not offer any type of support for Windows Live ID. Windows Live is a service that allows you to login and enjoy the use of multiple services. For example, Xbox users can use their Windows Live account to log in to their profile on a personal computer, even if they normally use the same account to play on their Xbox 360.
