Sony Ericsson Wilhelmina Concept, First Panoramic Phone?

We’ve heard about the PSP phone that lets you enjoy PS1 games on your phone, the Xperia Play, but this new concept by Sony Ericsson is much, much cooler. It’s called the Sony Ericsson Wilhelmina and it is powered by four cores in a clamshell gaming phone factor.

The gorgeous device looks much nicer than the stereotypical PS Vita. It caries two borderless touchscreens and offers a widescreen view for the player.

Sony Brings Qriocity Video Service To Smartphones

Sony recently introduced an app for Android devices called “Music Unlimited” which allowed Android users to listen to their favorite tracks on Qriocity powered cloud based music service.

Following the same tracks, Sony is planning to bring the Qriocity video service to Sony Ericsson smartphones. However, this service would be initially available on only a number of selected handsets. Currently, Sony plans to launch it only on its Sony Ericsson Xperia smartphones.

Sony Shrinks Smartphone: Meet The Xperia Minis

Sony Ericsson is going out with a bang this year, focusing on its Xperia lineup. Not only will Sony be releasing the Arco, but also the Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro. Both devices will feature HD-video recording, as well as Reality display and will feature the Mobile Bravia engine. Each phone will carry a 1GHz cpu, more memory, and will essentially look as a miniature Xperia (a fitting name, isn’t it?). Sony’s not holding back, releasing the new Xperia Minis with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and a release day of Fall, 2011.

PlayStation Games On Your Smartphone, We’re Finally Here

Sony PlayStation games are now available on Google’s Android Market. So far, some PlayStation 1 games made available are: Syphon Filter, MediEvil, and Cool Boarders 2. The titles are available for $6.38 at the moment with many more expected to roll out in the coming weeks. This of course is all happening before Sony Ericsson’s Xperia PLAY will be released.

The Xperia PLAY will be the first PlayStation Certified Android smartphone and will, as the name hints at, be able to play original PlayStation games downloaded through the Android Market. Verizon will be the only carrier to support the Xperia PLAY, at least for now, and the device it expected to ship…

The Green Bay Packers will go down in history as winning Super Bowl XLV (45) in Arlington, Texas tonight. It is a night they will never forget as they took on the Pittsburgh Steelers and won in front of a huge crowd. The game was held in the new Cowboys Stadium and the Packers defeated the Steelers with a score of 31 to 25 on February 6, 2011.
